GEORGETOWN, TEXAS — The Southwestern University women's swimming and diving team concluded competition Saturday at the 2026 SAA Championships, hosted by Centre College in Danville, capping an impressive four-day performance highlighted by an individual conference title, multiple championship-final appearances, consistent relay scoring, and a fifth-place team finish.

Senior Elizabeth Krajca led the Pirates with Southwestern's lone individual championship of the meet, capturing the 500 Yard Freestyle title in 5:11.00 to earn 20 team points. Krajca also advanced to the A final in the 200 Yard Freestyle, placing seventh overall, while contributing to several scoring relay performances throughout the championship.

Sophomore Niva Maskey delivered one of the top individual efforts of the week, earning a podium finish in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a third-place A-final swim of 58.97. Maskey also played a key role in the Pirates' relay success, including the 400 Medley Relay and other scoring relay events.

Freshman Sarah Wallen added another championship-final appearance for Southwestern, advancing to the A final in the 400 Yard Individual Medley and finishing seventh overall. Junior Elaine Bentley contributed additional points with a B-final performance in the same event.
