RALEIGH, N.C. - Southwestern was unable to pull off an upset in a 21-5 loss to Meredith College Sunday. 

It took just 30 seconds for Meredith to seize control of the game as Southwestern went down 13-2 at halftime. 

The Pirates were unable to close the gap as Meredith outmuscled SU. 

Hayley Donnelly led with three goals while Brenna Jobb chipped in two. 

Southwestern (4-5) next heads to Sewanee on Friday, March 24th.
