GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Women's Lacrosse earned the maximum of six student-athletes who qualified for the At-Large Division College Sports Communications Academic All-District. The honorees were senior
Elaina Seeley, senior
Katie Pratt, senior
Kati Rzasnicki, junior
Sydney Martin, junior
Cecilia Sheff, and sophomore
Hannah Colvin.
The eligible award winners must be a sophomore or above student-athlete with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). Eligible nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played
OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
The senior trio of Seeley, Pratt, and Rzasnicki were fantastic student-athletes. On the field, Seeley had a career season with 12 goals and three assists. Seeley left everything she had on the field each game with 19 caused turnovers (led the team), 29 ground balls, and 20 draw clears. She graduated with a Kinesiology degree.
Rzasnicki was an excellent addition to the squad as a pivotal defender with 14 caused turnovers and 27 ground balls. The Houston native also graduated with a Kinesiology degree. Pratt played three seasons for the Pirates, appearing in over 25 career games with three assists in the 2026 season. The local product graduated with a psychology degree.
Martin continued to improve in 2026 as a team leader and top goal scorer. She totaled 25 goals which lead the squad and holds 44 in three years at Southwestern. Martin scored three or more goals in five games this season as the target the Pirates leaned on.
Colvin is another exceptional student-athlete who had a historic season. She broke three school records including the single-game saves record with 22 against Oglethorpe University, the single-season saves record with 186 on the year, and the saves per game record at 13.30. Colvin had 12 straight double-digit save performances with 52 ground balls in a Second Team All-SAA season. Sheff rounds out the honorees as a dedicated defensemen who appeared in 13 of the Pirates games.
