GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Women's Track & Field had multiple standouts in the shortened home meet on Saturday. Due to inclement weather, the annual CenTex Invite was cut short as only six events were fully completed including the 3,000M Steeplechase, 4x100 Relay, 1,500M, 100M Hurdles, Discus Throw, and High Jump. 

Senior Breanna Steele highlighted the meet with a dominant 1,500M first-place finish at 4:53.40. The senior continues to excel after medaling at the SAA Indoor Championships last weekend. 

TOP PERFORMERS

• Senior Katelin Pilarski, junior Elia Gnao-Guei, freshman Emma Sanchez, and freshman Secilia Salzmann-Ledesma combined to place third in the 4x100 relay with a time of 50.25. 
• Among 12 competitors, Sanchez earned a third-place finish in the 100M Hurdles with a time 17.32. Sophomore Rylee Gaona followed behind in fifth at 17.43. 
• Freshman JP Seabolt placed seventh in the discuss throw among 24 athletes at 30.81M.
