SEGUIN, TEXAS - Southwstern University Women's Track & Field win three field events at the Texas Lutheran Invite in the Pirates second outdoor meet on Friday and Saturday. 

The Pirate youth was incredible as sophomore jumper Kaydence Menchaca and freshman JP Seabolt combine to win three events in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, and Javelin Throw. 

TOP PERFORMANCES

• Menchaca was dominant all weekend after joining the Pirates squad just a few months ago. 
• The sophomore won the Long Jump event on Friday with a distance of 4.99 meters. 
• She followed up that Long Jump performace with another win in the Triple Jump event, going 2 for 2 on the weekend. 
• Menchaca earned her second personal best with a Triple Jump distance of 10.82 meters. 
• Seabolt also grabbed her first career event win in the Javelin Throw. 
• The freshman threw a personal best distance of 33.33 meters. She also placed second in the Shot Put event at 11.19 meters. 
• Freshman Secilia Salzmann-Ledesma had an impressive 400-meter event with a time of 1:03.72. 
• Sophomore Triniti Gray placed fourth in the 800-meter event at 2:29.38.
