ARLINGTON, TEXAS - Southwestern Women's Track & Field competed in the University of Texas at Arlington Invite this weekend for a two-day event. The meet included multiple different levels of competition from DI, DII, and DIII.
Senior
Katelin Pilarski captured a new personal record and school record in the 100M dash at 12.35. Pilarski's time surpassed her previous school record of 12.51. The senior now owns three indoor school records and one outdoor.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- The throwers competed primarily on Friday as multiple standouts emerged.
- Sophomore Jaycee Green placed fourth in the Hammer Throw at 41.98M, while senior Kaila Hamilton followed right behind in fifth at 37.73M.
- Senior Sydney Braun finished in third in the Javelin Throw at 32.69M. Senior Caylin Damron posted a distance of 32.32M.
- In the Shot Put event, Green excelled again at 11.00M, placing second. Freshman JP Seabolt had a strong performance at 10.88M in third.
- Sophomore Triniti Gray posted a blazing 400 Mixed Hurdles time of 1:09.44.
- Pilarski came just 0.38 seconds short of the 200M school record with a time of 25.75.
