DANVILLE, KENTUCKY - Southwestern Women's Track & Field battled at the SAA Indoor Championships, placing sixth with 27 points.
Senior
Breanna Steele was the Pirates best finish, garnering third and a podium-finish in the mile event with a time of 5:13.45. The senior adds another accolade to an already decorated college career.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- Sophomore Jaycee Green added five pivotal points to the leaderboard in the Weight Throw at 14.62 meters.
- The 4000M Distance Medley Relay team of freshman Addison Jackson, freshman Secilia Salzmann-Ledesma, sophomore Triniti Gray, and Steele placed fifth at 12:54.41.
- Senior Leandra Motelet totaled a point for an eighth place finish in the Pole Vault at 2.95M. The mark tied her own school record.
- Freshman JP Seabolt earned her first career conference point, placing eigth in the Shot Put event at 11.37M.
- Junior Ella Lewis took fifth in the Triple Jump event at 11.14M. Lewis reset her own school record by 0.03M.
- Steele's podium finish in the mile added six points to the leaderboard.
- Senior Katelin Pilarski earned points in two events. Pilarski placed seventh in the 60M at 7.95, while finishing eighth in the 200M at 26.67.
