GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Track & Field senior Katelin Pilarski captures the program's first SAA Track Athlete of the Week in the first season in the new conference. Pilarski joins junior Lukas Nowlin who won SAA Field Athlete of the Week in the previous cycle. 

Pilarski has started 2026 on a blistering pace, breaking the 55-meter dash last weekend (7.59). This weekend, Pilarski shattered the 60-meter dash school record at the FasTrak Athletix Last Chance Meet with a time of 7.87. 

The senior continues to grow stronger meet-by-meet as she also ran 200-meter dash with a time of 26.50. The time was only 0.04 seconds off the school record. The Pirates took down five total school records on the weekend in prime shape for the SAA Indoor Championships at the end of the month.
