Southwestern Athletics Unveil Brand New Golf Simulator Facility

9/8/2025 3:07:00 PM

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Athletics recently unveiled a brand new state-of-the-art Indoor Golf Simulator Facility in the Varsity Hall, attached to the Robertson Center. The facility offers a massive asset to the Men's and Women's Golf team being able to practice right on campus with elite technology, receiving an ample amount of information about their game including club distance, spin rate, club speed, and much more. The project allows the Pirates to receive data in the facility to take out the local practice courses or match courses. This project would not be made possible without the help of our generous donors of the program who put the idea to life.

The facility is equipped with two Trackman IO bays, paired with Trackman enclosures surrounded by putting greens. This technology allows the players access to play on any virtual course of their choice such as the "Old Course at St. Andrews" which was the choice spot for Head Coach Greg Sigler's opening tee shot on the unveiling moment.
