GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Football freshman standout Chase Lanham was awarded nationally on the D3Football.com Team of the Week for his monstrous punting performance on Saturday in the win against University of Puget Sound. 

The D3Football.com poll is the premier online home of NCAA DIII Football nationally. Lanham earned the nod after punting six times for 332 yards, switching field possession against a strong Puget Sound offense. The native of Frisco, Texas has bursted onto the scene as a freshman averaging 55 yards on Saturday. His performance was highlighted by a booming 74-yard punt, downing the Loggers at their two yard line. 

Lanham also finished with two punts inside the Loggers 20-yard line. The award is also heavily credited to special teams coverage squad and the coaching staff.
