GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Ellie Samples, a junior from Rockwall, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Co-Swimmer of the Week for performances during meets swam Friday, January 31 to Sunday, February 2. Samples won both the 50 back (28.57) and the 100 IM (1:04.27) in Friday's dual meet victory over McMurry. In addition, her 50 fly split in the Pirates 200 medley relay win came in at 28.1 seconds. This now marks the second time this season Samples has won the award, having previously earned it in week two for her performance in the Colorado College dual meet.
