GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Men's Soccer rightfully dominated the SAA Award Selections with One Defensive Athlete of the Year, Four First Team All-SAA selections, Two Second Team All-SAA Selections, Two SAA Honorable Mentions, and One All Sportsmanship Team recipient.

Malcolm Framjee also garnered SAA Co-Coaching Staff of the Year after guiding their team to a historic 14-1-3 season. The Pirates finished second in the conference after being picked to finish fourth by the preseason coaches' poll.

Sharma headlines the list winning Defensive Athlete of the Year and First Team All-SAA, earning a conference honor for his fourth straight year and adding to his accomplishments. The captain anchored the back line allowing only nine goals all season along with capturing a program record 11 shutouts. The senior scored a career-high eight goals on the season, compiling a monstrous 23 on his career as a defender.
Pero and Johnson both rightfully deserved the First Team nod. Pero scored a career-high six goals on the season absolutely dominating set pieces. The junior was a force on the back line all season, helping Johnson secure 10 individual shutouts on the season. Johnson's breakout season came in the tune of 76 saves so far and 14 wins between the pipes. He currently is tied for the program record in individual season shutouts and holds a .857 save percentage. Pinto rounds out the First Team selections with an incredible season, notching eight goals and eight assists. The senior also scored numerous clutch goals to win matches, starting in all 19 games.
MacLeod and Wasserman were breakout two performers that the Pirates needed. Wasserman held down the midfield and took majority of the Pirates free kicks. The sophomore scored four goals with two clutch game-winners. MacLeod is one of the toughest players to defend in the conference, playing on the flank. The sophomore scored five goals in 19 season starts.
Marino and Anderson played pivotal parts to the Pirates midfield. Both players contributed six assists each in career years. Singh is another crucial defensive piece for the Pirates, starting in all 19 games with two assists.
