GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Men's Soccer fell inches away from a NCAA Tournament Berth in the season finale. However, the 2025 Pirates squad was one of the most prolific teams in program history. 

In fact, Southwestern's 15 wins marked a program record for most wins of all-time with a 15-2-3 record. The Pirates went 17 straight games without a loss, ending the season as the SAA Tournament runners up. Southwestern maintained success as a unit as 15 different Pirates scored in 2025, exhausting teams as head coach Dustin Norman was comfortable with relying on the depth and unity of his squad. Let's break down the program records shattered. 

All-Time Records Shattered

• Most Wins of All-Time (15) - Eclipsing the 2013 mark of 14 wins. Seniors Raghav Sharma, Greyson Pinto, and Scott Johnson conclude their careers with 44 career wins. 
• Most Team Shutouts of All-Time (11) - Southwestern was dominant defensively allowing only three goals in seven SAA regular season games. 
• Tied Fewest Single-Season Goals Allowed (12) - This historic defense tied the 2021 squad as two dominant units. 
• Tied Largest Margin of Victory in a Match (7-0) - Southwestern dominated Millsaps College on October 24, highlighted by Sharma's hat trick. 
• Most Single-Match Assists (9) - The Pirates dominated a strong Sewanee squad on October 11, highlighted by the midfield tearing up the Tigers on combination plays. 
• Most All-Conference Selections (8) - Eight different Pirates were selected All-SAA including: Junior Cooper Pero (First Team), Pinto (First Team), Johnson (First Team), Sharma (First Team), sophomore Danny Wasserman (Second Team), sophomore Quinn MacLeod (Second Team), sophomore Ross Anderson (Hon Mention), and junior Lucas Marino (Hon Mention). 
• Most Goalkeeper Wins of All-Time (15) - Johnson 
• All-Time Goalkeeper Career Save Percentage (.855) - Johnson 
• 20 Career Goal Club (23 Goals) - Sharma surpassed the incredible 20-goal mark this season as the most career goals since Jake Swonke in 2018. The Austin native accomplished the feat as a defener in all four years as a Pirate. 
• Co-Coaching Staff of the Year - Dustin Norman, Devan Pilarski, and Malcolm Framjee were recognized by the SAA as Co-Coaching Staff of the Year. 

The 2025 Pirates squad is forever in the record books at Southwestern and look forward to 2026 with 90% of the roster returning.
