GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern University Men's Golf team traveled to Abilene, Texas, where they competed at Live Oak Golf Club. The Pirates dominated the field, finishing in first place with team rounds of 294 and 297 for a total of 591 (+15). Southwestern led the tournament in nearly every major statistical category, including total pars (115) and eagles (2), to secure a commanding team victory. 
The Pirates were led by junior Ricky Mitchell, who fired rounds of 73 and 68 (-1) to claim individual medalist honors. Right behind him was senior Ethan Bridges, who carded back-to-back rounds of 71 (E) to finish in second place overall. Junior Sam McClure followed in fifth place, recording rounds of 73 and 74 (+5) while tying for the tournament lead in eagles. Sophomore William Suell contributed rounds of 77 and 74 (+7), and sophomore Ethan Law rounded out the team lineup with consistent play over both days. 
The Pirates also saw success from individual competitor Tyler Rosson, who led the entire field in birdies (7) and finished first in Par 5 scoring (-2). Southwestern dominated team scoring averages, ranking #1 in Par 3s (3.10 avg, +4 total), #1 in Par 4s (4.17 avg, +19 total), and #1 in Par 5s (5.10 avg, +3 total). Individually, Mitchell ranked #1 in Par 4 scoring (-4), while Bridges led Par 3 scoring (-2) and topped the field in total pars (26).
