GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Men's Soccer continued to be awarded for dominant play as senior Greyson Pinto wins SAA Offensive Player of the Week, while senior Raghav Sharma wins his second Defensive Player of the Week Honor.  

Southwestern's incredibly deep squad is evident as Pinto becomes the fourth different Pirate to win a weekly conference award. Sharma wins his second defensive honor of the season and the fourth for the Pirates. Senior goalkeeper Scott Johnson and junior defender Cooper Pero have also garnered the award this season. 

Pinto has been on an offensive tear in the past two matches scoring three goals. The senior had another game-winner on Saturday as the first of five goals in the massive win over Sewanee. The striker found the net again in the second half nearly leaping over his defender for a header goal, scoring two goals in only 59 minutes played. Pinto is tied for the team lead in goals at five with Sharma as SAA defenses struggle to defend both. 

Sharma is a pivotal reason why the Pirates have allowed only four goals all season, which is tied for second in the nation. The senior locked down the Tigers for a ninth shutout only allowing three shots on goal. The senior also got involved on offense with the second goal against the Tigers in the 5-0 route while playing all 90 minutes. Sharma is rare talent with five goals, two assists, and nine team shutouts.
