GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Men's Soccer continues to shock the SAA with a dominant victory over Millsaps College, controlling the match all 90 minutes, 7-0. The match was put away by halftime, scoring five first half goals by winning every ball in the air. Southwestern improves to 13-0-3 overall and 5-0 in conference.
The Pirates have two pivotal matches left against Rhodes College and Trinity with a chance to garner the regular season title and also post an undefeated season. The win tonight was historical as the clean sheet marked the most shutouts in school history at 11. The defense cements themselves as one of the best in school history.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- The Majors traveled to Georgetown needing a result to separate themselves from the 7th and 8th place conference team to help earn a tournament bid.
- However, that result opportunity faded away within 16 minutes of the match.
- The Pirates welcomes Millsaps to town with a signature long throw in from senior Greyson Pinto to Sharma's head for the goal in the first minute.
- Five minutes later, Southwestern scored again on a cross. Sophomore Ross Anderson swung in a ball to Pero who beat his defender to the ball as the Majors had no answer in the box.
- The Pirates found ways to manufacture goals outside of set pieces as well. Junior Nico Colegrove flicked a ball to sophomore Danny Wasserman who played a beautiful through ball into freshman Ezra Cryer. The freshman barely stayed onside and slotted the ball into the net.
- Cryer marked the 14th different Pirate to score this season.
- Junior Lucas Marino stepped up from half field and delivered a long ball into Sharma who redirected it into the net.
- Two minutes later, Sharma scored his hat trick in the 40th minute as a defender. The goal notches his team-leading eigth and 23rd of his career.
- The Pirates refused to let up as Pero scored his second goal of the night in the 49th minute. The center back duo have scored 13 combined goal this season, while also only surrendering six goals all season.
- Pinto scored his seventh goal of the night and seventh goal of his season in the 52nd minute on a penalty kick.
- 25 different Pirates entered the game as junior Townes Wallace recorded 13 minutes after battling back from a long road of injury.
