GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Softball (0-2) hosted the East Texas Baptist Tigers(1-1) for a doubleheader at Taylor-Sanders field Sunday at 3:00pm and 5:00pm. The Tigers were able to end things early in the 5th inning 8-0 and came back to win the second game as well, 10-0. 

HIGHLIGHTS

• Meghan McCarthy led the Pirates with 3 hits for the day, off of a total of 5 at-bats. 
• Jaden Wheeler led the Pirates on the mound in game 2 with 2 Strikeouts and 4 innings pitched. 
• Alexandria Wiley and Riley Glenn-Millhouse each earned a Hit off of one at-bat for the double-header. 

NOTES

• Madison Vela started things off for the Pirates and led the Pirates for 16 batters faced. Sophia Ytuarte, Hailey Arrington, & Jaden Wheeler hared the work today pitching versus the Tigers. 
• The Pirate's total LOB for the day was 10, compared to the Tiger's 19.
