TAYLOR CURTIS OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore outfielder from Bryan, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Offensive Player of the Week for games played Monday, February 1st through Sunday February 7th. 

Curtis led the Pirates to a 2-0 start to the season after going 3-3 with two triples, a home run and 3 RBI in game one of a doubleheader against Southwestern Assemblies. She posted a .833 average and 2.0 SLG on the weekend. 

Southwestern continues play today, Tuesday, February 9th at 1 pm in Abilene, facing Hardin-Simmons University.
