Box Score SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Southwestern more than doubled Berry College offensively in the first half and maintained a comfortable advantage the rest of the way to win 79-50 Sunday afternoon.
The Pirates held Berry to just 19.7% from the floor and 13% from three point range as Berry never led in the contest.
SU led 23-4 at the midway point of the first half and posted their largest lead of the game with 11 minutes left in the game, 64-23.
Four Pirates scored in double figures, led by Zach Whitlock with 16. Ryan Ogden added 15 and Connor Kim made a huge impact off the bench with 14 points. Chris Molina added 11 points.
Southwestern (4-5) returns to action after Christmas, hosting McMurry University on Wednesday, December 28th at 3 pm.
