Boujemaa earned three letters in cross country and track at Bastrop High School. She was team captain in 2013-14 and named MVP of the cross country team in 2012 and 2013. Boujemaa was the Bastrop Athlete of the Year in 2012 and 2014.

Personal

Emily is the daughter of Mairi and James Boujemaa and has one sibling, Caleb. She is majoring in animal behavior at Southwestern.
