Biography

2014

Adighibe posted the second fastest time of the season in the 100 meter dash at the SCAC Championships, 14.35. In field events, she also had the second longest throw of the season in the shot put, 9.56 meters while posting the best throw in the hammer at 32.13 meters, earning her a third place finish in the event and an All-SCAC honor.

2013

Adighibe posted her season bests in the hammer, javelin and shot put at the SCAC Championships. She threw 33.80 meters in the hammer, 20.69 in the javelin and 8.81 in the shot put. 

High School

Adighibe earned letters in basketball for the Rams and was a 2011 Honors Graduate. 

Personal

Maya is the daughter of Arnold and Cynthia Adighibe and has two siblings, Emeka and Chidi. She is majoring in business with a minor in economics.
