Biography

2014-15

Logan ran the show from the point position and averaged 31.7 minutes and 6.1 points per game. She led the team in assists (131) and steals (24) and shot 39.6% from the floor and 31.8% form three point range. Logan had a season-high 14 points twice, first against Hardin-Simmons on December 13th and again against Austin College on January 31st. She was an All-SCAC Honorable Mention selection. 

2013-14

Logan ran the show from the point position and led the Pirates in assists at 4.2 per game. Her 1.61 assist to turnover ratio was tops for the Pirates and 80th in the nation. Logan averaged 2.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 23.3 minutes per game. Her 11 assists against Centenary College on February 8th set a new SU record.  Logan was a member of the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.

Logan started all 27 contests this season, averaging 23.1 minutes per game. She led the Pirates in assists with 104 and averaged 4.9 points per game while shooting 32% from the floor and 35.1% from three point range. Logan posted a season-high 19 points against the University of Dallas on January 27th. 

2011-12 (First-year)

Playing in all 27 games for the Pirates, Logan made her presence known averaging 24 minutes per contest. She was sixth in the SCAC in assists with 3.4 per game. Logan's 1.1 steals per game is third for the Pirates and she was fourth in free throw percentage, shooting 73% on the year. Valerie was the 2011-2012 Team Defensive Player of the Year 

High School

Valerie earned varsity letters in basketball and cross country while competing for the Mustangs.  She was a three time Academic All-District selection as well as a three time All-District selection, one First Team selection.

Personal

Valerie is the daughter of Ron and Polly and has one brother, Nick.  Valerie is a kinesiology major at SU.
