Ramby was a First Team All-District players and a freshman and named team captain his sophomore year. His senior season he was named the team's Offensive MVP. He is a member of the National Honor Society, President of the Spanish National Honor Society and is a National Merit Scholar.

Colin is the son of Davis and Tracy Ramby and has two siblings, Amanda and Kirsten. He is majoring in political science and economics with a minor in Spanish at Southwestern.
