Senior Year (2011)

Cox made seven appearances on the mound in his final season with the Pirates, going 1-1. In 4.1 innings of work he allowed 16 hits, 11 runs, all earned, while walking none and striking out none.

Junior Year (2010)

Pitched 13 innings in 10 games...he struck out 11 while giving up 16 hits and 10 earned runs...recorded one save on the year...third on the team with a 6.92 ERA.

Sophomore Year (2009)

In his transition to pitcher, Nick pitched 9 innings in 8 games.  He struck out 5 while giving up 18 hits and 11 earned runs.

First Year (2008)

Nick was primarily a defensive catcher that had 8 at bats during the year.  He finished the year with a .955 fielding percentage.

High School
Cox was a 5-5A All-District Second-Team catcher and a team captain for the Panthers.

Nick is the son of George and Dawn Cox...has one sister - Shayne and one brother - Luke...is a pre-med major at SU.
