SEGUIN, TEXAS – The Southwestern University Women's Golf team carded a 654 (328, 326) across 36 holes to finish third out of 10 teams at the John Nellermoe Classic, hosted by Texas Lutheran at Starcke Park Golf Course in Seguin on Monday and Tuesday.

The Pirates cut two strokes off their Monday total in Tuesday's second round to secure third behind LeTourneau University (653) and tournament winner Hardin-Simmons University (646).

Three different Pirates registered top-10 finishes as
Anna Apisarnthanarax paced the team with a seventh-place finish after shooting a 161 (82, 79). Her 79 in round two was the lowest of any SU player in the event.

Addi Pierce and
Emily York both carded a 163 (81,82)Â to finish tied for ninth.Â
Jasari Cortez recorded a top-25 finish as she shot a 170 (87, 83) to finish tied for 25
th.
Sydney Jackson (172) rounded out the SU lineup tied for 29
th after firing an 84 and an 88.
