GEORGETOWN, TEXAS – The Southwestern University women's basketball team continued to prove its excellence beyond the hardwood, as three Pirates were named to the 2025–26 CSC Academic All-District Team for their outstanding achievements in both athletics and academics.

The 2025–26 CSC Academic All-District Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined excellence on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® Women's Basketball program honors student-athletes across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Southwestern University had three women's basketball student-athletes earn Academic All-District recognition for the 2025–26 season, highlighting the program's continued commitment to success in all areas.

To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes must compete in at least 90 percent of their institution's games or start in at least 66 percent of contests played, while holding a minimum of sophomore athletic eligibility. Academically, nominees must carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and be at least a sophomore academically. Transfer student-athletes are immediately eligible provided they meet the academic and athletic criteria.

Junior Lauren Stevens (Sugar Land, Texas) highlighted the group by earning the honor for the second consecutive season. A consistent presence for the Pirates, Stevens appeared in all 26 games this year, shooting an efficient 40 percent from the field. She contributed across the board with 80 rebounds, nine blocks, 10 steals, and 118 total points. Known for her defensive presence, Stevens anchored the paint while continuing to excel academically as a kinesiology major with a minor in business.

Sophomore Lizzy Kellam (Dallas, Texas) also earned All-District recognition after a strong all-around campaign. Kellam competed in 25 games, making three starts, and showcased her shooting ability by going 10-for-30 from beyond the arc while knocking down 79 percent of her free throws. She added 71 rebounds, 30 assists, 11 steals, and 113 points throughout the season. In the classroom, Kellam is pursuing a degree in communications with a minor in kinesiology, focusing on applied sports movement.

Rounding out the trio is sophomore point guard Emma Flores (San Antonio, Texas), who played and started in all 26 games this season. Flores was a steady leader for the Pirates, tallying 162 points while shooting an impressive 85 percent from the free throw line. She filled the stat sheet with 71 assists, 70 rebounds, and 33 steals, demonstrating her impact on both ends of the floor. Flores' leadership and consistency were key components of Southwestern's success this season.

The recognition of Stevens, Kellam, and Flores reflects the program's commitment to excellence in all aspects, showcasing the discipline and dedication required to succeed at a high level both in the classroom and on the court.
