GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Men's and Women's Track & Field both swept this week's SAA Athlete of the Week honors.Â
Senior
Katelin Pilarski took the Track AOTW, while sophomore
Jaycee Green was named the Field AOTW. For the men, junior
Jalen Joseph earned the Track honor, while sophomore
Caleb Cadena was named Field AOTW.Â
Pilarski shattered the 100-meter school record with a time of 12.35, which reseting her own school record. Pilarski now owns three indoor school records and one outdoor as she continues to shatter more in her impressive 2026 season. Green earned the honor after placing second in the Shot Put event with a distance of 11.00. The sophomore beat multiple DI throwers at the UT Arlington Invite. She also placed fourth in the Hammer Throw at 41.98.Â
Joseph was fantastic in the 100-meter (10.64), 200-meter (22.18), and the DMR (42.52). His 100-meter time of 10.64 was only 0.07 seconds shy of the program record as he continues knock on the door of strong records. Cadena excelled in the javelin throw as the Pirates top thrower in the event with a throw of 38.18 meters.Â
