ARLINGTON, TEXAS - Southwestern University Men's Track and Field traveled north to compete in the two-day UT Arlington Invite on Friday and Saturday. 

Junior Jalen Joseph was the Pirates top performer, knocking on the door of all three events school records he competed in. The junior raced in the 100M, 200M, and DMR events. 

TOP PERFORMERS

• Senior A.J. Sinor finished runner-up in the Hammer Throw behind a DI thrower at 35.22M. 
• After being selected Indoor All-Region last week, junior Sergio Cobos placed third in the Triple Jump event at 13.03M. 
• Cobos nearly broke the school record which is 13.55M. 
• The DMR squad of junior Ethan Sledge, freshman Andrew Puplampu, freshman Jack Pettigrew, and Joseph improved significantly in their time at 42.52. The effort was only 0.47 seconds off the school record. 
• Joseph continued to excel with a 100M time of 10.64. The junior is only 0.07 seconds shy of former Pirate Jamal Maxey's school record. 
• The Arlington native was excellent back in his home area, totaling another strong race in the 200M with a time of 22.18.
