Shobby Enakpene and sophomore
Aedan Lewis were two of 15 athletes named to the SAA All-Conference list, announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The senior guard, Enakpene, garners Second Team All-SAA, while Lewis was named SAA Honorable Mention. Additionally, senior
Sebastian Loder was named to the SAA All-Sportsmanship Team. The list contained five first team, second team, and honorable mention selection for a total of 15 athletes among the eight competing schools.
Enakpene made an monumental improvement in production in the 2026 regular season, finishing with 17.3 point per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, and 2.4 assists per game. The senior finished fifth in the conference scoring, along with being tied for third with Lewis in conference games only at 17.6 PPG. The part of Enakpene's game the set him apart was his ability to close games. Enakpene totaled three game-winning buckets, along with multiple take over games in the final ten minutes. He turned in ten games of 20+ points with a high of 27.
Lewis flipped the switch at mid-season, making one of the best duos in the conference with Enakpene. The sophomore finished the regular season with 12.1 PPG and 5.5 RPG. However, he posted only 5.4 PPG in the non-conference slate and absolutely exploded in conference play at 17.6 PPG and 6.7 RPG. The sophomore scored 20 points in 50% of the conference games with two double-doubles. Lewis became a monster on both ends of the court, posing a matchup nightmare for SAA opponents.
The Pirates now set their sights on the SAA Conference Tournament, hosted by Berry College in Mount Berry, Georgia. Southwestern takes on the four-seeded Millsaps College in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 4 p.m. CT. The Pirates look to win their first conference tournament game since the 2015-16 season.
