LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA - Southwestern Men's Track and Field shattered three school records at the McNeese Indoor II & Multis on Friday, hosted by McNeese State University.
INDOOR SCHOOL RECORDS
- School Record - Junior Ethan Sledge, 55m, 6.88
- Sledge shatters the school record, which was previously 7.04. The time ranked four amongst the event.
- School Record - Junior Lukas Nowlin, High Jump, 2.03m
- Nowlin picks up where he left off last season with another strong meet. The junior broke his own school record, along with placing first in the event by a comfortable margin.
- School Record - Sophomore Jimmie Nathan, Weight Throw, 12.02m
- Nathan snaps the school record which previously stood at 11.82m.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Sledge (23.42) and freshman Jalen White (23.51) finished 10th and 11th in the 200m dash.
- Freshman Jett Love placed fourth in the 55m hurdles (8.94).

Southwestern travels to the University of Houston next Saturday, competing in the FasTrak Collegiate Last Chance meet.
