WLAX 2026 Schedule Features Eight Home Games

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Women's Lacrosse recently announced the 2026 spring schedule with eight home games and six away contests. The Pirates enter a new era in the Southern Athletic Association, joining Berry College, Sewanee, Oglethorpe University, Rhodes College, and Centre College. 

Head Coach Taylor Beretich enters her third season at the helm. Beretich gained some valuable new additions to the coaching staff as former Pirate, Skye George was named full-time assistant coach after graduating as a team defensive caption in 2023. Multiple key volunteers join the staff including Johnee Wolter, Raquel Kurth, and DeAnna Hames

The 2026 schedule starts in Washington with contests against Pacific Lutheran University (Feb 20) and University of Puget Sound (Feb 22). The Pirates return home for seven straight non-conference games at Varsity field. The stretch features battles against Wentworth Institute of Technology (Mar 3), Concordia University (Wis.) (Mar 7), Suffolk University (Mar 10), Ohio Northern University (Mar 12), The College of Wooster (Mar 15), Whitman College (Mar 19), and UMass Boston (Mar 21). 

The conference slate features four away games and one at home. Southwestern travels to Centre (Mar 27) and Sewanee (Mar 29) to conclude the month. The squad hosts their lone SAA game against Rhodes (Apr 11). Next, Southwestern concludes the regular season at Oglethorpe (Apr 24) and Berry (Apr 26).
