GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern University women's cross country team turned in a strong performance on Saturday as they hosted the 2025 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championships in Georgetown, Texas.
Competing against a deep and competitive conference field, the Pirates finished fifth overall with a team total of 141 points. The event showcased some of the toughest competition in the SAA, and Southwestern rose to the challenge on their home course with a determined team effort from start to finish.
The Pirates' performance capped off a season of growth and consistency, highlighted by steady improvement across the lineup and strong finishes throughout the fall.

The Pirates are headed west! Southwestern will travel to Claremont, California, to compete in the NCAA West Regional, hosted by Pomona-Pitzer. The meet will bring together some of the top programs in the region as the Pirates look to cap their season with another strong performance.
