Pirates Battle Hard at SAA Championships in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern University men's cross country team closed out its season on Saturday, competing on its home course at the 2025 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championships in Georgetown, Texas.

Facing a highly competitive conference field, the Pirates finished seventh overall with a team score of 161 points. Southwestern showed grit and teamwork throughout the race, putting together a solid performance against some of the strongest programs in the league.

The meet capped a season of progress and resilience for the Pirates, who continued to build momentum and depth throughout the fall.

  • The Pirates hit the road to the West Coast as they head to Claremont, California, for the NCAA West Regional hosted by Pomona-Pitzer on Saturday, November 15. Southwestern will race against some of the region's best, looking to cap off the season with a strong finish.
