GEORGETOWN, TEXAS – The Southwestern University men's cross country team delivered a standout performance at their home meet, the SU Showdown, on October 18th in Georgetown, Texas. Competing against a strong regional field, the Pirates secured an impressive 2nd-place finish with 84 points, trailing only Dallas Baptist University. The result marks another step forward for the team as they continue to build consistency and confidence heading into the championship stretch of the season. The Pirates' depth and steady pack running once again proved to be their strength, setting a solid tone for what's ahead.
