PIrates dominate at home against Centenary

GEORGETOWN, Texas - Southwestern women's swimming won all but three events against Centenary College Saturday morning, defeating the Ladies 161-62. 

The Pirates started out hot, taking first and second in the 200 medley relay and placed first, second and third in event #5, the 200 free. Kate Russell won with a time of 2:05.83, nearly six seconds faster then her closest competitor. 

The 400 free relay team of Erika Dubros, Sam Rao, Kate Russell and Breely Peterson closed the meet just as the Pirates started it. SU won the event by 14 seconds while also taking the top two spots. 

Southwestern hits the road for the first time this season, heading to Loyola University on Friday, October 27th.
