Kingston led the Pirates on the mound, making 44 appearances and starting 41 games in her first season. In 224 innings of work she allowed 104 runs, 77 earned, on 227 hits while walking 51 and striking out 184. Her 2.41 era was lowest on the team and second lowest in the SCAC. She accrued a 26-9 record on the year to lead the SCAC in wins. Kingston was an SCAC All-Tournament Team selection as well as being named the SCAC Newcomer-of-the-Year. She was a First Team All-SCAC selection and garnered SCAC Pitcher-of-the-Week honors four times this season. 

High School

Kingston was an Honorable Mention All-District selection in 2010 and was a part of the District Champion Mustang team that season. She was also an Academic All-District selection in 2011 and 2012 and is a member of the National Honor Society

Personal

Kelsey is the daughter of Greg and Lisa Kingston and has one sibling, Brittany. She is majoring in art with minors in business and architecture at Southwestern.
