Biography

2014

Payne played in 17 games and started four times for the Pirates. In 13 plate appearances she recorded one hit for a .077 batting average and was a member of the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.

High School

Anna is a 2013 graduate from Liberty Christian School. In 2012, she was Academic All-State for softball. She was also First Team All-District that same year as well as during her 2013 season. During her senior season she also earned All-State Honorable Mention. While at Liberty Christian, Anna was a member of the TAPPS State Choir as well as a member of the National Honor Society from 2011 through 2013.

Anna is the daughter of Lori and Richard Payne and has one sister Emily. She is currently a business major at Southwestern.
