2012 (Sophomore)

Smith started in 6 of his 16 appearances and recorded a 3-2 record for the Pirates. He allowed 39 runs on 27 hits. Max walked 21 batters and struck out 28 (third on the team). Smith ended the season with the teams best earned run average of 4.24. On April 2, Max was named the Pirates only SCAC Player-of-the-Week.

2011 (First-year)

High School

Max, a 2010 graduate of Arlington Heights High School, earned varisty letters in both football and baseball.  Max was named first team All District at both pitcher and third base during his career with the Yellow Jackets.

Max is the son of Russell and Linda and has one sister, Madie.  Max is a history major with a minor in exercise sport science.
