Biography

2014

Anderson had an outstanding first season with the Pirates, starting 13 of the 15 games he competed in. As the main faceoff man, Anderson won 71 of 134 faceoffs for a team high .530 win percentage. He was tied for fourth on the team with 11 goals and added in five assists for 16 points. Anderson was third on the team in ground balls with 37 and posted a .641 shots on goal percentage. He posted a hat-trick against Centenary College on April 19th and had two goals in Southwestern’s win over Capital. Anderson was the SCAC Offensive Player of the Week during week two of the season. 

High School

Kyle is a 2013 graduate of Palmer Ridge HS. While there, in 2012 Kyle was named to the First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Area for football. Then, in 2013, he was a member of the First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Area for lacrosse.

Personal

Kyle is the son of Lynne and Scott Anderson and is the brother of Kelsey and Kevin Anderson. He is planning on majoring in political science with a minor in Spanish at Southwestern.
