Biography

2014

Michael was second on the team in assists with 15 while running the offense for the Pirates. He added in seven goals for 22 points on the year with eight ground balls and three caused turnovers. With 22 shots on goal in 41 shots, Michael posted a .537 shots on goal percentage. He had a season-high five points against Centenary College on March 28th, scoring one goal to go with a season-high four assists.  Michael was a First Team All-SCAC selection.

Michael appeared in 16 games, scoring nine goals and assisting on four others for 13 points. He took 41 shots with 23 being on goal for a .561 shots on goal percentage. Michael also picked up 17 ground balls and caused one turnover. 

2012 (Sophomore)

Michael appeared in 2 games in 2012 as a captain for the Pirates before being sidelined by injury. He recorded 1 groundball and 4 shots. Hew was a member of the SCAC Academic Honor Roll and Dean's List. 

2011 (First-year)

Michael recorded six goals and was third on the team with 12 assists for 18 points in his first season as a Pirate. He took 36 shots and picked up 21 groundballs this season. He was a member of the SCAC Academic Honor Roll and Dean's List. 

High School

Alex earned varsity letters in both lacrosse and basketball while playing at Westside High School.  Alex earned All District honors twice and was the team captain and team MVP.

Alex is the son of Paul and Maria and has one sister, Elena.  Alex is majoring in economics at SU.
