Men's Golf Concludes NCAA Fall Preview

WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia – The Southwestern University Men's Golf team wrapped up play at the NCAA Fall Preview and finished tied for 12th out of 18 teams after three rounds of play across Monday and Tuesday at the Kingsmill Resort Course in Williamsburg, Va. The Pirates carded an 876 (295, 283, 298) for their 54-hole total.
 
Landon Donnelly led the way for Southwestern as he finished tied for 34th out 90. Donnelly recorded rounds of 73, 72, and 70 to tally a 215. Tyler Rosson (37th) finished one stroke back with a 216 (75, 69, 72). Rosson's 69 in round two marks a new career-low.
 
Sam McClure fired a 219 (71, 70, 78) to finish tied for 45th. Jack Barber (80, 77, 78) and Carson Elder (76, 72, 87) finished tied for 85th after shooting a 235.

The Pirates return the course Oct. 12-13 as they travel to San Antonio to compete in the Carla Spenkoch Invitational, hosted by Trinity University at The Quarry Golf Course.
