GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern University Men's & Women's Track and Field teams traveled to Lake Charles, Louisiana where they competed in the McNeese Indoor ll Invite on Friday, January 31st. Multiple Pirates set school records as well as personal records for the season! 

Coach Kenneth Eboh had this to say post meet "Despite a short week of preparation and extended travel to a new venue, the team rose to the challenge and delivered outstanding performances from our newcomers to seasoned vets. The hard work put in during the fall and early season is beginning to pay off, and it's showing in our results. As we progress, we want to use this momentum in practice and competition throughout the season."

  • Jamal Maxey: Long Jump - 6.84m

  • Sergio Cobos: Triple Jump - 12.87m

  • Simon Rupe: Weight Throw - 11.65m

  • Bobby Straus: Shot Put - 10.57m
