GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern women's basketball team was back in Georgetown, Texas on Friday, January 31st in a conference match-up against Concordia University. The Pirates moved to 3-6 in conference play after dropping the contest to Tornados, 56-67.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS: 

• Sophomore Trinity Benitez led the Pirates with fifteen points, and ten rebounds making this her fifth double-double of the season

• Senior guard Ellie Ward racked up ten points, going 4-10 from the field, and 2/4 from three

• Emma Flores picked up fourteen points, shooting 65% on the night

GAME NOTES:

• Pirates Taylor Boddie and Alexa Romero each collected seven points

• The Pirates went 17-59 from the field, 8/22 from three and were 87% from the free throw line

• The Southwestern Pirates will be back in the Robertson Center to take on McMurry University on Saturday, February 1st at 4:00 PM.
