GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern women's basketball team was back in Georgetown, Texas on Saturday, February 1st in another conference matchup against McMurry University. The Pirates fought hard but ultimately lost the battle against the Warhawks, 59-70. Women's basketball is now 3-7 in conference play. 

GAME HIGHLIGHTS: 

• Senior Ellie Ward led the Pirates with sixteen points and nine rebounds for the game

• Pirates Adrianna McCoy & Trinity Benitez each collected ten points, and five rebounds on the night

GAME NOTES:

• Alexa Romero shot 80% picking up seven points of her own

• Pirates had a total of twenty one points off the bench compared to Warhawks thirteen

• The Pirates were 22-54 from the field, 3/14 from three and 75% from the free throw line
