GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern Men's Basketball team played close SCAC rivals Concordia University on Friday, February 21st down in Austin, Texas. The Pirates are looking for another conference win as the season ends this weekend. Southwestern was trailing by two at halftime and ultimately dropped the contest to Tornados 70-84.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• Pirates Sebastian Loder and Jared Robins each led the Pirates with sixteen points, Loder led the Pirates in rebounds with five

• Freshman Aedan Lewis collected eleven points, shooting 50% from the field 

• Keshaun Bell and Gio Gutierrez picked up five assists each on the night

GAME NOTES

• Tornados were nine better in the steals margin than the Pirates (13-9), allowing Tornados to score twenty-five points off of Pirate turnovers

• The Pirates were 45% from the field, 11-27 from three, and went 9/14 from the free throw line

• The Pirates will travel to Abilene, Texas to take on the McMurry University Warhawks on Sunday, February 23rd at 2:00 PM for the final game of the season.
