GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University men's basketball team traveled to Irving, Texas to take on the University of Dallas Crusaders on Saturday, January 25th. The Pirates kept it close heading into halftime, and forced the game to go into overtime. The Pirates fought hard, but ultimately it was the Crusaders that picked up the conference win defeating the Pirates 71-62. 

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• Shobby Enakpene led the Pirates with thirteen points, shooting 82% on the night while also collecting five rebounds as well as three steals

• Freshman Jared Robins picked up a total of eight rebounds for the Pirates

•  Sebastian Loder racked up eleven points coming off the bench

GAME NOTES

• The Pirates went 23-63 from the field, 9/25 from three, and were 70% from the free throw line

• Pirates had a collective of twenty-one points off the bench compared to Crusaders five points
