GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University men's basketball team played on Friday, January 31st against Concordia University in Georgetown, Texas. The Pirates fought until the very end, having five lead changes. The game ultimately came down to the last ten seconds, where the Pirates could not get the shot to fall. Men's basketball moves to 2-7 in conference play after dropping the contest to Concordia University, 75-78.

• Shobby Enakpene had another great game for the Pirates, leading the team with fifteen points and three steals

• Number 25 - Luke Mills led the Pirates with eight rebounds on the nights while also putting up thirteen points

• Freshman Aedan Lewis came off the bench to collect a total of twelve points

• Stephen Smith had a career high of five points while also picking up one block

• The Pirates went 28-60 from the field, 6/24 from the three, and were 56% from the free throw line

• Concordia University's bench outscored the Pirates bench 55-27
