GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University women's basketball team took on #24 Colorado College in Georgetown, on Friday January 10th. The Pirates fought hard but ultimately came up short against the Tigers 45-58. The Pirates are now 0-3 in conference play. 

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• Sophomore Adrianna McCoy led the Pirates with fifteen points, while also picking up five rebounds and contributing three assists.

• Pirates Ellie Ward and Lauren Stevens led the team with seven rebounds each, also helping crash the boards Ward collected seven points, Stevens had eight of her own.

• Sophomore forward Trinity Benitez went 5-5 from the free throw line helping her pick up seven points on the night.

GAME NOTES

• Taylor Boddie, senior guard had a career high in steals with a total of three

• Pirates went 16-58 from the field, 2/16 from three, and 92% from the free throw line
