GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Men's Basketball team took on Howard Payne University on Wednesday December 4th in Brownwood, Texas. This is the second match up between these two teams this year. The Pirates fought hard but ultimately came up short against the Yellow Jackets with a final score of 80-106.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• Senior forward, Brock Luechtefeld put up a career high of thirty-one points, making him the only Pirate to average double digit points per game

• Jared Robins also collected a career high of twelve points and nine rebounds on the night

• Junior Nico Mur had a career high in rebounds with five

• The Pirates were eleven better than the Yellow Jackets in the rebound margin, 40-29 with twenty-seven defensive rebounds

• Southwestern was 29-60 from the field, 4/19 from three and were 56% from the FT line
