GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University women's basketball team took on Howard Payne University on Monday, January 16th. The Pirates ran the court against the Yellow Jackets, improving their win streak to three. Final score of the contest was 77-35 making it the biggest win margin since 2018.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• Sophomore guard, Adrianna McCoy had another career-high night scoring twenty points while also picking up four rebounds and a steal

• Trinity Benitez collected her second double-double of the season through eleven rebounds and thirteen points

• Freshman Lizzy Kellam racked up ten points on the night, a career-high for her

GAME NOTES

• Southwestern was twenty one better than Howard Payne in the rebound margin, 49-28 with eleven offensive rebounds

• Pirates went 28-59 from the field, 10/25 from three, and were 78% from the free throw line, out shooting the Yellow Jackets in all three categories 

• Southwestern's forty two point win margin, makes it the biggest win margin for the Pirates since 2018
